Nordic walking race in Tomsk!

Another great news about Tomsk Marathon!  Nordic walking race is now included into the program of Tomsk Marathon competitions along with running.

Nordic walking — also called pole walking — is now actively developing in Tomsk and in the country I general. Previously preferred by seniors, now the number of younger engaged into this health-promoting activity is growing rapidly. It is now a full-fledged competitive sport with its specific athletic training, titles, categories and competition.

Regional branch of Nordic Walk Federation of Russia has been established in our city and preparation to the marathon has started! We expect to see over 100 athletes from Tomsk and other Russian cities on our course in June.      

We would love to see more international athletes in the streets of Tomsk!
