Best athletes of Russia are coming to YARCHE! Tomsk Marathon in 2019! Tomskovites and guests of the city are going to see Marina Kovaleva — the marathon Valkyrie of our days, many-time national champion and the pride of national athletics — she is on our marathon course again this year!

Marina is one of a few Tomsk Marathon's favorites and her first place in the last year’s race in our "Siberian Athens" was well-earned! She had a symbolic bib number of 1001 and it brought her luck — she was the first among the women crossing the marathon finish line. She won with a very good time of 2:40:10 and we are very excited to see her on our 42,2 km course again this year!

Awards and Victories

Marina Kovaleva became the Champion of Russia with the record she set on Moscow Marathon course in 2013. She also performed prominently in Saint-Petersburg White Nights Marathon and won the gold of Yaroslavl half-marathon in 2017. Marina set new records and won prizes of Lisbon, Bucharest, Paris and Seville marathons. She is a many-time winner of the Siberian International Marathon!

We all are looking forward to seeing Marina and other athletes of Omsk here in Tomsk June 9, 2019! Let the entire country see what true Siberians are capable of!
