Getting to Tomsk marathon from the USA, Europe and Asia: travel options
Option 1: Flying to Tomsk through Moscow
Flight
International travelers can fly to Tomsk through Moscow (as there are no regular international flights to Tomsk). There are 4 daily direct flights of Ural Airlines, Aeroflot, S7 Airlines to Tomsk Bogashevo Airport from Sheremetyevo and Domodedovo airports of Moscow. Approximate Moscow–Tomsk–Moscow round trip fare in the time of the Marathon (June 8–10, 2019) is $240–260 or €193–210.
Planes depart from Moscow late at night (between 10:30 pm and 1:15 am) and land in Tomsk early in the morning the next day (between 6:35 am and 9:15 am).
Getting from the airport to your hotel
The distance between Tomsk Bogashevo Airport and Tomsk is 15 km. Athletes and their cheer teams can get to the city by bus No.119 or taxi.
Bus fare is 32–50 rubles ($0.5–0.9 or €0.5–0.9).
Taxi fare is 400–500 rubles ($7–10 or € 7–10).
Option 2: Getting to Tomsk through Novosibirsk
Flight
You can fly to Novosibirsk from many places in Europe and Asia.
Europe: Munich, Frankfurt, Prague, Dusseldorf
Asia: Beijing, Phuket, Seoul, Tokyo, Larnaca, Antalya, Dubai, Hong Kong and Goa
There is one local daily 50 min’s flight from Novosibirsk to Tomsk, but it's irregular, please check the official airport website (English).

Getting from Novosibirsk to Tomsk
The distance between the cities is about 280 km, so taking a bus or a taxi is a good option.
- Bus
The most convenient way to get from Novosibirsk Tolmachevo Airport to Tomsk is taking a bus.
The bus stop is next to the airport terminal and you can buy a ticket at the office located in the Arrival area on the ground floor of Domestic terminal (Section A).
The bus leaves 6–7 times a day between 03:05 am and 10:05 pm from Tolmachevo Airport and follows to Tomsk bus station. The bus fare is 846 rubles ($15 or €15). The distance is about 282 km and the usual travel time is 5–5.5 hours.
- Taxi
You can call a taxi at the counters located in the baggage claim area and in Arrivals area of Section A (Domestic). Regular taxi fare is 5,000–6,000 rubles ($90–100 or €90–100). It takes 3.5 hours to get to Tomsk by taxi.
- Pre-booked bus or taxi to Tomsk
You can pre-book a place in a bus or a taxi coming from Tomsk to Novosibirsk airport to pick up passengers through Tomsk-based Passenger Transfer Service. It will cost you about 900 rubles ($16 or €13) and the journey takes 4 hours.

There are some Tomsk-based taxi companies that provide regular services of passenger’s pick-up at Novosibirsk International Airport. You can find their contact numbers on this website. Regular fare would be 5,000 rubles ($90–100 or €90–100); a car takes up no more than 4 passengers. Drivers can speak English.
Please note that airport international check-in desks open 2 hours 30 minutes before and close 40 minutes before scheduled departure. To check in for your flight, you will need your ticket (e-ticket) and passport.
